Beginners Yoga guide: Learn the natural way to stay healthy and fit

If you are a beginner, let us discuss some of the poses for starting yoga session with ease.

Downward Dog

  • In this pose, you require starting on all fours. Your hands need to be directly under shoulders and knees under your hips.
  • Move hands a few inches forward. Follow with spreading fingers wide and pressing your palms into the mat.
  • Now you require curling toes under and slowly pressing hips towards ceiling. Bring your body into an inverted V and press shoulders away from ears. The feet needs to be hip-width apart and knees slightly bent.
  • Remain in this position for three full breaths.

Mountain Pose

  • In this pose, start with standing tall with shoulders relaxed, arms at sides, feet together and weight evenly distributed through your soles.
  • Now you require taking a deep breath and raising your hands overhead. You palms should face each other and arms need to be straight.
  • Stretch up towards the sky with your fingertips.

Warrior Pose

  • In this pose you require standing with legs 4 to 5 feet apart.
  • Turn your right foot out 90 degrees and bring slightly in your left foot.
  • Now relax your shoulders and bring your hand to the hips.
  • Stretch out your arms to the sides and keep the palms down.
  • Bend right knee 90 degrees and keep the knee over ankle/
  • See out over right hand and remain in the position for a minute.
  • Switch sides and repeat the process.

Start with the aforementioned poses and within a matter of few days, you will start feeling better and healthy. Make yoga a regular part of your life and keep your mind, body and spirit healthy!
